[caption id="attachment_589" align="aligncenter" width="490" caption="colorful baskets"][/caption] I love color. I consider myself a colorist. I really can't draw things, but I can work with color. When selecting my wardrobe, I refuse to buy black to wear around my face. I'm a "summer", and need purples, raspberries, oranges. No red, black or white. Have you ever done your colors? I have an old book, Color me Beautiful, about choosing your specific color palette. According to the book, I should wear winter white, not white, brown not black. Interesting, isn't it?

The challenge for me lately with metal clay is to add more color to my work. I love pearls, or course, but also want to explore adding color in the way of stones, or resin, or enamel. Back to finishing taxes....
