Study in Blue

[caption id="attachment_622" align="aligncenter" width="466" caption="Blue, white, black enamel over copper "][/caption] Today I tried working in blues.  I know I need to branch out.  Green is one of my favorite colors.  I wear a lot of green, I use a lot of green in my work.  Not sure the blues are working for me.  I love turquoise blues.  This enamel is called turquoise blue, but it doesn't have enough green in it for me.

These beads are made from my favorite glass,  Vetrofond, Ocean Green Odd.  I stockpiled a few pounds before it disappeared. It reacts with the ivory & forms that cool brown line around the division of the green & ivory glass.  The bead on the left uses two of my favorite colors, lime green & turquoise.   Now that spring is approaching, I will fire up my torch soon and try my hand at more beads.  Hot glass is pretty amazing!
