Wow-the leaves are falling in Denver, and in the mountains, they have fallen. I had a busy summer, the Winter Park Art Affair was a great show, lots of customers, old and new, found me there. The Vail Farmers & Art Markets were great also, special thanks to Karats Jewelry Design for sponsoring the COMA booth every Sunday. I hope to return next summer.
The Colorado Potters Show & Sale is approaching, and I am in ceramics mode, throwing my olive dishes and making mugs for our give-away. I will have an array of jewelry at the sale as well. The following week, I will have jewelry at the Castle Clay Artists Show & Sale, in Golden. It's very close to the Applejack Liquor store off I-70 & 32nd Ave.
November 22, Sami Hazan will host a home show for me and in December, I will host a 2 day sale at my home. I will also show work at the Arvada Center Fine Art Market, which they have extended the dates this year. The opening of the Market is Thursday December 2nd. And it will continue through Sunday, December 20th.
It seems like forever-I was working on a tag to attach to my work, and finally I had a stamp made and I will be attaching small name tags. The evolution of this logo goes back 20 years ago, when Evan was born and I started making clothes for him. At the time, in Cherry Creek North, there was a very cool shop called, Applause, and they had amazing baby clothes, accessories, etc. The children's clothing had cool patches on them. So I attached a cloth patch to all of Evan's handmade clothes.
